25 November - International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women:

35’000 Soroptimists standing united against violence!

Dear Soroptimists,

This coming Monday, 25^th of November, will be the International Day to fight ‘Violence Against Women’.  Please find attached a Statement developed by the SIE Advocacy Team.

The Statement will be sent to several institutions and agencies, including the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the OSCE and the European Women’s Lobby.

Included in this mail is a letter suggesting some communications at Union and Club levels.  Please kindly consider spreading the Soroptimist message and posting it on your websites.
